All of the townhomes in the community of French Quarter feature two-level floor plans.  The homes have living rooms, kitchens and dining rooms on the lowest level.  The second floors feature the bedrooms.  Many of the bedrooms also contain private balconies, which overlook the community’s courtyard.  Some of the townhomes in French Quarter have waterfront views, while others have golf course views.  Expect to find two to three-bedroom, two-and-a-half bath to three bath units for less than $100,000 to around $150,000.  Square footage for the townhomes starts at less than 1,000 and goes up to around 1,600 square feet.  The homes feature flat tile roofs, with open patios with a full range of appliances.  The entryways open up to the townhome’s living area.  Expect to find split bedroom floor plans, with carpet and ceramic flooring throughout.  You will also find private courtyards, open porches and storage rooms, which is a great benefit for townhome living.

The community of French Quarter is in a great location for shopping.  The Mall at Wellington Green is the place to go for all of your shopping needs.  The area is also filled with several restaurants and other entertainment venues.  Upscale shopping and fine dining locations are also just a short drive away from the community.  Other nearby destinations include the Palm Beaches, less than a half hour drive from the Village of Wellington.  The beach setting is perfect for fishing and diving, and just lounging along the white, sandy beaches and soaking up the South Florida sunshine.  If you are looking for a place to play golf, there are more than 150 courses, both public and private, in the area of Palm Beach County, Florida.  There are also a number of museums and cultural sites in the Wellington area.  The French Quarter community is within walking distance of the Wellington Community Center and Amphitheater.  As for healthcare, French Quarter is close to two area hospitals; Palms West Hospital, located on Southern Boulevard, and Wellington Regional Hospital, located on Forest Hill Boulevard.  The French Quarter community falls under the public School District of Palm Beach County.  Nearby schools, include Wellington Elementary School, Wellington Landings Middle School and Wellington High School.  All are within just a mile or two of the community.  There are also various private charter schools and private schools in the area.  Those include Western Academy Charter School, Montessori Academy of Early Enrichment, Forest Trail Academy, Wellington Christian School and a number of private preschools.  There are also a handful of colleges and universities spread across Palm Beach County for older students, and those wishing to continue their higher educational pursuits.
