Location

 

The Village of Palm Springs is located directly to the northwest of Lake Worth in Palm Beach County.  Tucked right in the middle of Florida’s Turnpike and I-95, Palm Springs residents have easy access to all of South Florida.  The Village of Wellington is straight west from Palm Springs.  West Palm Beach is to the northeast.  Boynton Beach and Delray Beach are both to the south of the Village of Palm Springs.  The village includes about three-and-a-half square miles.  When future annexation goes through, the Village of Palm Springs will go west to Military Trail, east to Florida Mango Road, and between just north of Forest Hill Boulevard to Lake Worth Road.

Shopping

Local Economy

 

Palm Springs began as primarily a residential area.  Only in recent years has the village expanded to include properties that are more commercial.  One of the largest employers in Palm Beach County, as a whole, is the School District of Palm Beach County.  The public school district includes such high enrollment numbers it is also one of the largest school districts in the entire United States.  As for the rest of the job market, Palm Springs is a mix of both white and blue-collar jobs.
