Magnificent views can be found when you surround yourself with a home in Canyon Lakes.  The neighborhood was the first built of the four communities that make up The Canyons, constructed by GL Homes.  Canyon Lakes is uniquely situated within the Agricultural Reserve, lending rural charm to an upscale community. The neighborhood includes a clubhouse, a top-rated fitness center, a resort-style community pool, and two tennis courts.  For younger children, there is also an aqua tot lot and a kid’s wading pool.  Older kids will delight in a full-size basketball court and party pavilion. There are walking and biking trails throughout the community, along with an open playing field for resident to enjoy games with friends.The community of Canyon Lakes is just south of Boynton Beach Boulevard along Lyons Road in Boynton Beach. This area is a highly sought after area of beautiful Palm Beach County, and one of the largest cities in all of the county. The homes of Canyon Lakes include 26 separate floor plans to choose from.  Homes have either water views or garden views, situated on cul-de sacs and private lots. Expect four to seven split bedroom homes, with square footage ranging from 2,200 to 5,700.  All homes have between two and five bathrooms, with either two or three-car garages. Expect top of the line appliances and custom cabinetry throughout the homes.  You will also likely find crown molding, tray ceilings and walk-in closets along with numerous high end finishes and uprades. On the outside of the homes, you will find hurricane shutters, large covered patios, and private backyards overlooking the beauty and originality of the neighborhood.

Along with all the other amenities offered within Canyon Lakes, residents cannot pass up the convenience of living near Canyon Town Center.  The shopping area is built to resemble a true main street, with numerous restaurants and unique retail stores.  Residents also have easy access to a post office, salons, a grocery store and an on-site amphitheater. Residents can delight in one of the 79 public parks in Palm Beach County, as well.  Outdoor adventurers can also take part in recreation at one of the many beaches.  From diving to boating, from kayaking to surfing, there is sure to be something for everyone. If golf is more to your liking, you can practice your swings at one of the 150 private and public golf courses located in Palm Beach County.  You can even catch spring training for the Florida Marlins and the St. Louis Cardinals. As for the largest employer, it is the School District of Palm Beach County.  This area of Palm Beach County also relies heavily on tourism and agriculture.  As well, there are several high-tech industries located in the area. For medical issues, Canyon Town Center includes its own urgent care center.  The recently opened Bethesda West Hospital is also just a short distance away.

The community is fortunate to be located within the top rated School District of Palm Beach County.  Olympic Heights Community High School, Odyssey Middle School and Sunset Palms Elementary are all nearby.  In fact, the elementary school is just an easy bike ride away from Canyon Lakes. Numerous private schools also call the area home, including Cardinal Newman High School, The King’s Academy and St. Joseph’s Episcopal School. For higher education, choices include one of the many campuses of Palm Beach State College.  Florida Atlantic University, Northwood University and Palm Beach Atlantic University are also all located in Palm Beach County, Florida.
