Some homes include their own private pools.With its great location, residents within the community of Harbor Estates have countless nearby dining options at their disposal.  From casual restaurants, to fine dining, the choices are endless for residents. Shoppers will delight in the many choices available at Boynton Beach Mall.  The shopping destination is just ten minutes away from Harbor Estates.  This is the place to go for national retail chains and hard-to-find stores. There are also several high-end retail options just a short distance away for the community of Harbor Estates.

The beach is just steps away for residents of Harbor Estates to enjoy.  You can walk or bike to the area.  Along with boating, residents can also enjoy fishing and diving in the area, or just simple soak up some of the beautiful year-round sun of South Florida. If golf is your game, pack your clubs and head out to one of the dozens of golf courses in the area.  Palm Beach County boasts around 150 private and public golf courses to choose from. Not surprisingly, tourism is a large part of the Boynton Beach economy, as well as for much of the rest of Palm Beach County.  The largest single employer, however, is the public school district.  The School District of Palm Beach County is one of the largest in the United States by student size. A number of hospitals and medical centers are at home in the Boynton Beach area, including Bethesda Memorial Hospital for the safety of residents.

The community of Harbor Estates falls with the boundaries of the School District of Palm Beach County.  Nearby public schools, include Boynton Beach Community High School, Rolling Green Elementary School and Odyssey Middle School. Some parents do choose to send their children to one of the numerous private schools located in the area.  There are also a number of colleges and universities with campuses in and around the Palm Beach County, Florida area for older students to attend.
