Homeowners do not pay fees into a Homeowner’s Association. Condominium owners pay fees that fund maintenance of the common areas, trash removal, lawn care, cable television, sewer and water. The community of High Point is located to the east of I-95, just across the street from Chapel Hill, and close to the Lake Ida area. The area is a desirable location of Palm Beach County, with easy access to a number of attractions. The homes of High Point feature single-family homes, villas and one to four bedroom condominiums. Square footage ranges in size from 954 for the condominiums, to 1,600 square feet of living space for the homes. Prices range from a reasonable $76,000 to around $395,000. Many of the condominiums are cinder block construction. Some of the homes include hurricane shutters and hurricane impact windows, screened in porches, gourmet kitchens and walk-in closets. Many homes also include fenced in yards with private pools.

Living in High Point puts you about as close as possible to the Atlantic Ocean. Residents can walk to the beach from their own doorsteps. This option makes boating, diving and fishing a daily activity for some residents. Many restaurants and shopping districts are also within walking distance. A grocery store, coffee shop and some restaurants are less than a mile away. Public parks, such as Diamond Head Park, are also less than a mile from the community. Palm Beach County has dozens of public parks available, with various recreational opportunities available.You can also hop in your car for a short drive to visit one of the many national retail stores and high-end boutiques at home in the Boynton area of Palm Beach County.

If learning the history of the area is important to you, there are many opportunities to learn about Boynton Beach. From the Andrews Home to area art museums and historical sites, the choices are endless. From museums that cater to the very young, to those catering to the young-at-heart, there is plenty to do in Boynton Beach. Golf courses are not difficult to find in the Palm Beach County area, either. There are more than 150 public and private courses to choose from, many with close proximity to High Point. As for employers in the area, many jobs are related to tourism in Palm Beach County. The public school district is the largest employer. Bethesda Memorial Hospital is just a short distance away from the community of High Point. Although High Point is an adult community, it is located within the School District of Palm Beach County. Area community public schools include Forest Park Elementary School, Odyssey Middle School and Boynton Beach Community High School. The public schools are award-winning, and together rank as one of the largest school districts in all of the United States. Many parents and grandparents also send their children to one of the many parochial and private schools in the area. For higher education, there are numerous choices as well. Palm Beach State College in Lake Worth caters to students from the area, as do Palm Beach Atlantic University, a Christian university in West Palm Beach, and Keiser University, also located in West Palm Beach.
