Current home prices in the community of Versailles list for a little less than a half million dollars to upwards of two million dollars.  As for square footage, you will find homes ranging from just less than 3,000 square feet, up to 10,000 square feet.  The homes have at least three full baths, with some having up to 7+ bathrooms.  Expect builder upgrades and exquisite detailing including crown molding, gourmet kitchens with granite counter tops, as well as marble and mahogany flooring. There are 24 different open and split floor plans to choose from, with all of the homes built between 2004 and 2006.  There is even the choice of a courtyard home with a detached guest suite. Living in Versailles will put your family within minutes of upscale shopping, fine dining and entertainment.  Located on the west side of 441 (SR7), you will have easy access to the Florida Turnpike.  It is also close to the Wellington Polo Grounds. The Mall at Wellington Green is a year-round shopping destination for South Florida.  It features major nationwide retailers, as well as specialty shops you will have a hard time finding elsewhere. If you are ready for the beach, the Palm Beaches are about a half hour drive east.  You are also within an hour drive of Fort Lauderdale, and about an hour and a half drive of South Beach. The unemployment rate in Wellington, Florida is about 10%.  This is higher than the U.S. national average of fewer than 9%.  Job growth in the community is also slightly down.  There are 22 hospitals, in or near the Village of Wellington.  The top rated Palm Beach County School District, which includes 11 public schools, services the Versailles community.  There are also six private schools to choose from in the area.  Palm Beach County is also home to several universities and colleges, including Florida Atlantic University and Palm Beach State College.
