Welcome to a gated community where living is simplified and luxury touches come standard.  Wellington Shores is an outstanding community offered by Sterling Communities.  Home construction began in 2000, and ended in 2002. There are just 181 homes to choose from, all with their own distinctive charm and appeal.  The community is surrounded by lakes and tropical landscaping, giving a true feel of South Florida living at its best. Most homes offer a feeling of privacy within a neighborhood setting.  There are also several cul-de-sacs throughout. The community of Wellington Shores includes a clubhouse, a heated pool, and a fitness center and lighted tennis courts.  There is also a children’s playroom and tot lot for small children to enjoy.  Adults will enjoy the many walking and jogging trails throughout the neighborhood. Homeowners in Wellington Shores do pay dues to a Homeowner’s Association.  Those fees go to fund the numerous neighborhood amenities as well as pay for additional services for residents. You will find the community of Wellington Shores on the south side of Lake Worth Road, just west of US-441 in the beautiful Village of Wellington in Palm Beach County, Florida.

The area ranks nationally as one of the top 100 places to call home by Money Magazine. Both single family and estate homes are available in the community of Wellington Shores, in both one and two-story options.  There are about a dozen floor plans to choose from, with between 1,600 square feet and upwards of 3,700 square feet of living space. Many homes in the neighborhood feature four bedrooms, three full baths and a three-car garage.  Vaulted ceiling and open floor plans are common, as are luxury baths.When buying in Wellington Shores you can expect Concrete Block Construction homes.  Prices within the community start in the low $300,000 range. The community of Wellington Shores offers a tranquil and peaceful setting within its gates, yet is close enough to city living to offer everything a homebuyer is searching for.  

Within a short drive of Wellington Shores, you can find dozens of private and public golf courses for weekend games.  You are also just miles away from some of the most beautiful white, sandy beaches in all of Florida.  Here you can take part in all kinds of water recreation, as well as enjoying picnics in the numerous parks and fishing along the shores. As for the sport of shopping, anyone can join in at one of the many retail-shopping venues in the area.  The Mall at Wellington Green is one of the largest, featuring numerous big name retailers as well as smaller hard-to-find shops. There is also an endless supply of restaurants to choose from, including fine dining choices and casual sit-down establishments. Not to be ignored is the impact of the equestrian sport on the community.  Wellington hosts several large equestrian events throughout the year. As for the job market, unemployment stands at around 10% for this area of Palm Beach County. For the safety of residents, there are nearly two dozens hospitals in, and around, the Wellington area to service homeowners. The community of Wellington Shores falls within the top-rated Palm Beach County School District.  The closest elementary school is Panther Run Elementary.  Polo Park Middle School and Woodlands Middle School are close-by, as are Wellington High School and Palm Beach Central High School. Some parents choose to send their children to private schools, of which there are several to choose from in the area.  You will also find numerous colleges and universities for older students to attend.
