If you are searching for a new restaurant to try, you will likely find it in Palm Beach County.  The area boasts dining venues sure to match any budget and taste, from fine dining to family-friendly locations.  As for shopping, the Mall at Wellington Green is nearby, and has endless options for your retail and home décor needs.  If more upscale shopping is what you area after, you will find it too, just a short distance from the community of Greenview Shores.  The beautiful and stunning South Florida beaches are an easy drive from the Village of Wellington.  Expect to arrive within just 20 to 30 minutes.  Bring a picnic lunch and enjoy the afternoon.  The area has fantastic opportunities for fishing, diving and boating.  There are also dozens of public parks within Palm Beach County, with among 30 of them located within the Village of Wellington.  Golfers do not have to travel far either, to take up a game.  A number of championship golf courses reside in Palm Beach County, with 150 public and private choices spread across the area.  The Village of Wellington, though, is perhaps best known for its fantastic equestrian facilities.  The area hosts a number of equine shows throughout the year, including the well-known and regarded Winter Equestrian Festival.  Horse enthusiasts come from around the area, and the world, to train at and compete in some of the best equine facilities and events in the entire nation.  It is not surprising that the area is regarded as the equestrian capitol of the world.  There are also a number of museums and art venues to visit in the area, to learn about the rich history and culture of the region.  Nearby hospitals, include Wellington Regional Hospital, although there are several other medical facilities in the area of Wellington and Palm Beach County.  Children living within Greenview Shores attend public school within the A-rated School District of Palm Beach County.  Older students attend Wellington Community High School, while younger students attend either Horizon Elementary School or Wellington Landings Middle School.  There are also a number of private schools in the area, which parents choose to send their children to.  As well, several private and public colleges and universities are at home in Palm Beach County, Florida for higher educational opportunities.
